the bristol old vic studio

Theatre West have taken many productions into the Bristol Old Vic Studio including several Shakespeare plays and in 2003 produced Caryl Churchill's Blue Heart, two one act plays exploring language and theatrical conventions. In January 2004 we produced Shang-a-lang by Bristolian Catherine Johnson, and in April 2005, Far Away by Caryl Churchill. In 2006 we toured Latvia with Mike Akers' Little Pictures and on our return we rounded off the tour with a week in the studio.
